I owe my success (very little, but not losing, which is better than most people/years) to alot of peoples thought and ideas. You take what you like from others and jot it down and use it/add it to your arsenal if it seems to fit.

I am in awe of the math guys (Fezzik, Cutter, a few others) who make this game of gambling look so strategic. Who make you think of ways to find value. Who use pct's and numbers to give them an edge.

I also look up to guys that find ways to make money. True grinders(Fishhead, Santo, etc...). Guys that have the patience and persistence to sclap, bonus hunt and build their bankroll slow and steady.

I also look at guys who take the time to share their knowledge when they are gaining nothing and only making the competiton harder for themselves (RandyRohm, a guy that is sharp as a razor and EXTREMLEY helpful and so many others who post on here and take the time to give their well though opinion). I hope to one day be as helpful to guys who were as helpful to me.

and guys who post their plays on here day in and day out(too many to list) trying to help others beat the game the old fashion way, pure old handicapping. Facing the scrunity of others and once again gaining nothing.

These guys and these type of forums are what keeps little, but passionate gamblers, like myself, motivated EVERYDAY to try an find a way to win. You get burned out alot and many nites I go to bed saying "this just isn't worth the time" , than I wake up and think how these guys I look up to make this game look beatable and it refreshes me, fires me up and sends me right back out there. If they can do it so can we.

(didn't mean to leave anyone out, as I could have mentioned hundreds of guys, but the list would have been WAAAAAY too long)

I look up to Bigbet.

According to Fishhead, he can turn $2500 into $20,000 within 3 months, 99 out of 100 times by playing online casinos.

That is a great feat my friend.

My old best friend Julie (RIP). She told me never let a girl tell me I can't gamble and follow my dreams, whatever they may be. For 2 years that dream was to gamble professionally, but then it became something else and I followed that. I think most of us could agree there was someone important that wasn't a gambler in our lives that made what we do today possible.

I'll never forget Dr. Bob. One of our coworkers used to get his picks faxed on Friday. He would either head up to Tahoe or Reno to bet them or call up his man to play every one religiously, saying he couldn't lose in the long run. He did lose of course and went on a serious gambling bender as a result. I kept warning him to back down, being the former pro gambler didn't carry any weight with him though. A couple of us went up with him to Tahoe the last weekend, he was betting 10 dimes on each game, pretty huge for a guy who probably made 75k. Anyways he went 1-4 and our buddy then snuck off. He went to the craps and blackjack tables. Blew off another 40k. Only stopped when the casinos cut off his credit. He still had credit at one place, but the others called them up and warned them he was cooked at their places.

Toughest drive ever for the others in the group. We were silent the whole 3 hours home, we didn't want to set this guy off. Kinda strange too because I had a 9-1 weekend betting football and won some money playing cards as well. Couldn't celebrate though because we were on suicide watch.

my best friend Mat - the King of UK Jumps. I will bet anything he tells me regardless of my views and without him having to say the reason for the bet. That's RESPECT.

This is my thing. I think I have a lot of respect for a lot of different guys. Tremendous respect in many cases, actually.

But 'looking up to' someone is different, I think it means you already conceed that they are better than you.

If you want to be good at this, you have to find ways to stay hungry.
