Looking at the Subway Series between the Mets and Yankees. This is the return series following the 5/19-5/21 series won by the Mets 2-1. In that series, the Yankees only win was 5-4 when Mussina started and went 7 innings as his line shows below. Hernandez did not face his former team.

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

The Mets are coming off being swept by the Red Sox being outscored 23-9 and now have lost 8 of their last 13 on the road. Meanwhile, the Yankees won 6 of their last 8. Mussina comes in with a record of 9-3 and an ERA of 3.28 while Hernandez is 2-3 with an ERA of 5.40 in 6 starts as a Met and 4-7 overall with an ERA of 5.82. Mussina's last outing was a gem against the Marlins as shown below. While, Hernandez remained in form against the Blue Jays.

Sense here is that the Yankees will be looking for payback against their weary crosstown rivals. Hence,

1* New York Yankees -1.5 (+117)(Pinnacle)

Year To Date Record: 8-1 (+8.52)

Good Luck All.
