Talk about a team that can't get out of their way right now. The Angels just find ways to lose. They watch Jeff Weaver get destroyed by the Rockies in the 2nd game of that series and then leave 127 men on base versus Francis of the Rockies on Wednesday. They are just not a good offensive team right now. Now they send Colon to the hill who is 0-2 his last 3 starts and in his last 2 starts versus the Dodgers, 15 runs in 8 innings. To put it bluntly, it isn't going to get any better for him tonight. Penny comes in at 8-2 overall and 4-1 on the road with an era of 2,90. He has had a pair of mediocre starts going 1-1 but both were average. With an era of 3.06 for the year, to watch him give up 9 runs in 11 innings of those last 2 starts is average. He will be on tonight and the Dodgers beat up Colon again. All Dodgers
Astros
We are talking two cars heading the wrong way down a one way street and one of them has to get on the right road and that team will be the Astros and Oswalt. He comes off 7 solid innings allowing 2 runs to the White Sox and he will take the confidence of that start into this one here. Against Texas, he is 3-1 his last 5 allowing just 12 runs in 37 innings. Padilla has an home era of 4.18 and he is just what the Astros need tonight. Oswalt is on the money with a win tonight.
Braves
I used this kid in his first start and he didn't disappoint me, he won't tonight. He shutout the D'Rays over 8 innings and was as dominant as that number would lead you to believe. Cabrera can't get out of his own way. He is 0-3 his last 3 getting crushed for 15 runs in 17 innings. He will be no match for James tonight. Braves get a big win at home as they rough up the O's all night long. Get on the Braves.
