Does anyone happen to know how the American Leauge did last year against the NL?

We all know what's been going on this year--total AL dominance. But what happened last year? If it was more 50-50 last year that might lead me to believe that this year could just be a statistical anomaly. I mean, how much can things change in one year?

If the AL did well last year too, then...wow.

BTW, I had Cleveland tonight. Not too many AL teams losing these days, but if I pick 'em that means they're going down!

AL went 136-116 close to 54% which is equal to 87 -75 season for a baseball team. Only 3 times as a league finished 20 games over .500 for a seaon over the other (counting last year)

NL leads all time (going into this year) 1104-1095 but AL passed them this year.

Too many games to say it was a fluke. Way too much dominance also. It has been ugly.

Wonder how many units you would have won if you bet AL teams blindly during this?

Had Cleveland also, ruined a pretty good day. Worse thing is I chalked it up before it was over, those hurt TWICE as bad.

HOMEFIELD during interleague is huge!!!!

Until this season, the home team wins at a much higher rate than during NL vs NL and AL vs AL play.

DH, and players not used to playing at the other leagues stadiums is a big reason for that.

Should be only 2 times a league has won 20 more games than it lost (both AL).

AL now has a 6-4 lead in years winning more games.

Still VERY close all-time before this year.
