Forgive me for not adding this post in the Portugal & England in game thread. Ricardo is my hero. What a display by the man who looks like Tony Montana. What heart and yeah what luck. Oh my god this feeling nothing beats it. When Portugal was down I was in tears and what a change in emotion. Oh my friggin god. To all the England fans. Im sorry the game had to go like that with the red card. So please don't think of this post of me trying to rub it in. England played with alot of heart and deserved a better faith.

Guessed right on every one, that was amazing. Yesterday was same thing with the Germany keeper, he also had them figured out. Pretty darn good stuff the last 2 days.

Congrats dmmd98! Great showing by Ricardo!

OMT,

I have to disagree - I don't think it was a great game at all. While the quality of play was sub-par as expected, I was hoping for a lot more intensity.

Thanks Duck and thanks for the comment you left me last night. What the game lacked in skill the game made up for it in pure emotion back and forth.

You're welcome. You're right about the emotion back and forth making up for the lack of skill. In fact, that goes for the World Cup in general; a lot of sub-par games in terms of quality, but the intensity makes this event the biggest of all. It sucks that Denmark didn't make it this time though... Nothing like the years when your country is in the World Cup!

Winbet,

Sorry, mate. Have a pint on me. :toast:
