Ball is only in play for 15 minutes for a game that drags on forever, most of the players couldn't pass for REAL athletes and I would love to see them do something that makes them break a sweat, most of them cheat in some way or another, the vast majority are overpaid and act like crybabies........list goes on and on

I bet you throw like a girl, and would cry like a bitch if you ever stepped up to the plate and took one in the ribs.

And I bet you would cry if you got slide tackled from behind and had your leg snapped in half. What's your point?

Simple solution to make baseball more enjoyable.

Riots

Look at soccer. That sport is so boring that the fans beat each other up before, during, and after the game. They don't have anything else to do.

baseball is the most boring sport because its not played with urgency and the games take too long. too long of a season. i like a shorter season because the games mean more.

I can see both sides of the argument, I like baseball but only like to watch the Dodgers and Post-Season, but can't watch just any old game on TV, It's a lot of strategy that people don't see, Should I throw a curve, is he expecting it, should i even throw a stike to this free swinger he may K on 3 balls...etc If you don't like it thats fine, I won't try to convince you, but don't even hint that its easy... No that any other "competitions" are.

I also think the season is too long, they could space it more, and play about 85 games, might make teams more competitive to have an ace make 1/3 of the pitching starts insteasd of 1/5 if their lucky... Why do they have to play almost every day...

I guess my point is that I disagree that "Baseball sucks". I love baseball to the point of it being almost a mental illness. I do not agree with any of your points, and I think that anyone who has ever tried to play baseball or even tried to understand it, would have a little more respect for the players. It is a game of skill and athleticism, and I think any reasonable person would agree with that.

Nice. That might get attendance up and they could sell more beer.

To add to that, what if the players had to face some humiliation for losing. Perhaps losing team stands in a circle while winning team gets to pelt them with water balloons or tomatos.

Baseball has more action than soccer and is more exciting although neither are that fun to watch unless you are there.

You want an exciting sport check out rugby. It's like soccer combined with huge hits that are legal. No babies allowed.

For baseball...
How about the foul ball girls in bikinis and between innings inning girls, like they have round girls in boxing...

They can walk around between half innings with signs saying bottom of the 6th

even if the game sucks at least there would be something to look at...

WHile were at it how about bat girls in bikinis or better yet that skin tight bat girl outfit bringing balls out to the umps and getting the bats...

Now I would stay interested for 9 innings...Just give us something to occupy us or look forward to...

it takes a lot of courage to stand in agnst clemens, r johnson, santana, etc.

i love the big 3. baseball, football americano, & basketball. soccer does suck.

world cup drama? can u imagine deciding the super bowl by having each placekicker kick five fieldgoals apiece in overtime, or having a homerun hitting contest in extra innings of the world series, or having a nba final overtime decided by a 3 pt field goal contest?

Baseball has great catches, big HRs, and the no hitter.

What is soccer's equivalent? All they have is a goal... a no hitter in soccer is equivalent to a team not scoring and that happens all the time. Big HRs? They might have some nice shots but they only happen once every few games where a HR happens once or twice a game in MLB. Soccer is a bunch of passing and every 5-10 minutes a scoring opportunity arises where the guy almost always misses.

Soccer is a decent game but definately not exciting at all. Penalty kicks at the end are about the only bigtime exciting moment but even then it's still an unfair way to decide a game.

I like soccer but it's boring as sin.

I played baseball with a lot of guys who didnt like to watch it. They also were the type that had no idea that they should try to go to the right side with a man on 2nd and no outs, would get throw out trying to steal by 35 feet down by 6th in the 9th and were bascally Manny Ramirez without the talent. If you dont understand the game I imagine it would be very boring.

I still love baseball, but let's not kid ourselves. Fundamentals went by the wayside years ago, when the big money contracts became commonplace. These days, the majority of them are like Manny, and have no baseball sense. They don't respect the game by running out ground balls and pop-ups, they aren't concerned with moving runners over if it could affect their batting average. They are loyal only to the team that will pay them the most. When their contracts are up, and it's time for their agent to go to bat to find the highest bidder, they don't talk about the player's ability to move up runners. It's "my client batted .312 over the last 4 years and hit X home runs. That is worth at least X million dollars over 5 years." Baseball is not the beautiful sport that it could be. Hell, I don't watch it everyday, and I've seen star players forget how many outs there were twice this year.
