Question:

Do the yellow cards picked up by players in the quarterfinals carry over to the semi-finals? Meaning, if they pick up one more yellow card, it totals two and therefore becomes a red and they are then ejected for the remainder of that game plus the finals? Would appreciate any responses. Thanks in advance.

a yellow from a previous match can not affect a player during the following match ever.....

if he recieves another it may affect the following match

It takes 2 yellows in the same game to eject the player from that game. If you get one yellow in the quarters and one in the semis then you must sit out the finals

Romo & Jim:

Appreciate the replies. Thank you. Wanted to make sure no player was facing immediate ejection with one yellow card in the semi's.
