What are these gambling forums for? Really, this is like a big soap opera that we are living in... I came to this website from Covers because there was way too much crap at Covers to bother reading. But this site has gotten 100 times worse than Covers, because I can't open the front page without seeing bitching about some guy padding his record, some scam job, some ghost trying to gain a rep by posting his "8 quadrabazillion star play of forever!" when he's got 6 posts, etc.
The point of this rant... things have changed here.... the quantity of good posts that really help us make money is limited. There are threads in the offshore forum that are quite good and quite useful, like those that give us information about the books that we play at or may play at in the future. Keeps us up to date in the business that we're in. In-game threads are great. Keeps conversation going and gives fans of sport a chance to talk about the games going on with other fans of sport. Guys posting questions about how to do certain things. Great. TheRx used to be chalk full of this information. Now it's full of all of the crapola that is absolutely unnecessary.
Congrats to TheRx for becoming one of the biggest sports forums on the internet. A bigger forum should mean more good information for all to share. There isn't anyone here that came here for the wrong reason. We all want to win money. Some choose to post their selections for others to see for critiquing or trying to help others out. That's great. Others are just chiming in with their thanks. That's great too. But there are too many people here that just don't understand this.
Bottom line: Everyone that posts picks on TheRx and the sports gambling posting community as a whole does it out of the goodness of their hearts. No one should be negatively criticizing anyone for their selections. All of this bitching and moaning back and forth over stupid stuff just makes for a giant soap opera, and all it successfully does is take away from the quality posts and posters that are buried within the forums.
