A couple things I recall.

I lived in Ocean City, on the beach, every day that summer seemed to be a perfect vacation like day, sunny, hot and 85-90 degrees.

I recall the Atlanta Braves winning their only WS in their so called dynasty rub...

Tom Glavine threw the one hitter against the mighty Indians in the deciding game 6 and David Justice homered, I believe the final was 1-0 .

At the time I felt that the Indians were as good an offensive team as we had seen in many years ....they had finished the regular season 100-44

I was in HS living it up, getting laid every day, playing ball all summer, started drinking about this time! (now i only drink all the time) I remember this was Joe Torre's last run in St Louis as they had one of the worst seasons I can remember. (year before was no better).
.
Bunch of people died in the midwest cause it was so damn HOTTT!
.
OJ NOT GUILTY
.
I was listening to Dave Matthews Band (before they became big), Pearl Jam,
.
Think Jordan was playing baseball so the bulls did not win title. Houston i believe.

This is from the top of my head

Michael Jordan comes back for the first time wears #45 they lost to orlando, Houston won it's 2nd?! championship. I think MJ's father has recently died.

Hip hop and R&B has flooded the top40. But country music has picked up a lot of steam Garth Brooks is a household name at this point. All his albums sell well.

Tommy Hilfiger clothing is wildy popular. Calvin Klien's 'Obsession' is the trendy cologne.

The Cowboys/Niners rivalry is awesome. Montana either just retired or plays for the chiefs. The patriots are very competitive under parcells. Brett Favre has finished under going the growing pains of what it takes to become champ. Steve young dazzles.

The yankees are virtually unstopable. They have the best pitching staff ever. The braves continue to be solid.

The Ford probe is a very popular car.

6 flags is the park you want to visit.

Having a CD player in your car is a big deal.

cant think of anymore

Oh im generally a happy person but compared to the 80's and today the 90's sucked. Girls wore flannel and were depressed over Kurt Cobain shooting his head off. No one wanted to have sex cause everyone feared ended up like Magic Johnson. Music was depressing with the Smashing Pumpkins thinking there were the greatest band ever. Baseball was just coming off a strike hell the Colorado Rockies made the playoffs how is that for fu*ked up. Jordan was playing baseball. The 49ers smoked the Charges in the super bowl. The only good thing I can remember is the New York and Seattle had a great opening round baseball series in what was Don Mattingly final game.

It was most definitely a grungy time...I remember the high schoolers at the beach all making me feel ancient with the way they looked and dressed.

I remember Eddie Murray who was in the twilight of his career was having a great year with the Indians and broke his ribs at the plate that foirced him to miss a month , he also recorded his 3,000 base hit in 95.

Alannis Morrisette had her breakthrough album which they played to death.

Oh yes. How can I forget her. Everyone felt so smart when they mention that she used to appear 'you cant do that on televison.' "you already won me over"
