if you have a little fexiblity do this:

go to bidding for travel dot com. This site lists what people are paying on priceline for certain hotels. It also explains "tricks" on getting the best bang for the buck.

Then go to priceline and reap the rewards. Last year I play $25/night at the Hyatt at Disney in California. Others were staying in the same place for $150-$250 per night.

Saving like this are not uncommon.

I second TN's recommendation. You can easily learn about the in's and out's of priceline with biddingfortravel. Learn how to use your rebids wisely. Very useful if trying to stay at a 4-5 star place. Priceline is the only way I go now outside of Vegas.
