Who was it that said he had one pitch?

This guy is right there with Liriano just dominating everyone and anyone!

Lets not forget the test of time as his brother is a great example.

Weaver was so hot for the terrible tigers and then the the curse of the Yankees got him.

He was +115 last night. Wonder how long it will take for the line to adjust?

Remember this was against Felix Hernandez, one of the most overrated pitchers in the league in my opinion.

I'm as big of an Angel fan as you'll find. The kid has been nails so far....

BUT:
Look at his 5 wins. SEA, KC, TB, CLE, BALTY.....Hardly world beaters.
Plus, the Halos have averaged almost 5-1/2 RPG for him.

Hard to argue with his ERA though. He definately is over-achieving as his stuff will never be considered 'great'. He's doing it with pinpoint control and that quirky delivery. Article in today's OC Register compared him to Nomo when he first came on the scene.

Cautiously optimistic.

And so it goes......

He's certainly a huge upgrade over Jeff...In Jeff's case, what could go wrong usually did.

They say he hides the ball well and throws many pitches at different speeds. keeps the hitter unbalanced and uncomfortable
