Both at 13, I believe. I started betting Habs games at the local mall (province-regulated lottery, crazy vig on those) and I got drunk with half a bottle of vodka my bro and I had brought to a party. Was comatose for a day and I couldn't drink any alcohol for several years after that (instant urge to ucking: if I even smelled alcohol)

agreed. Sure we all made little side bets at 10 with a friend.

I think the question should read when did you start betting on a weekly basis.

I started going to the local harness track around 16. So that would be my answer

i think a lot of us started gambling in college. it sounded so good that we could make money with out working. it hurst a lot more when you lose money you have worked hard for.
