I responded to an ad on the net for a sports marketing position.

Turns out it is selling subscriptions for a tout service.

Their sales pitches are:
-75 years of handicapping experience
-they pick every NFL and CFB game :lolBIG:
-unique statistics based winning formula
-start winning your office pool :lolBIG: :lolBIG:

One week package = $9.95
NFL season package = $129.95
NFL and College season = $199.99

Is this any of you guys??? I'll post the website if you want.

I would receive 20% of my sales.

Should I take the job???:money8: :money8: :lolBIG:

20% at those prices would NOT amount to much money.

For a Tout Service those are dirt cheap prices.

Let's say you sold 100 total subscriptions (which would be an extreme amount and a lot of selling)

100 x's $200= $20,000 in sales you would make $4,000

Most tout services charge a lot more than that. But it's better than being unemployed and maybe you could work your way up to some better sales positions with the experience. Good luck!

Its a starter position for sure. You are basically a dialer whos paper gets sent up the latter to those who can sell this stuff.

If it were 20 percent of sales plus a percentage of what the saleman gets for say a week or two it would be a lot better offer because refferals for dialers is where the money is at.

Seeing that it is July they are just looking for people to work there old paper and clean it up before August comes.

Thats my proffessional opinion.
