In the NL Central, you can't count 'em out. Wide open. But if they make the playoffs, they're toast.

cards have some holes to fill in the trade market via pitching...however their starting lineup is good on paper just all seem to be slumping at the same time

I don't know if anyone else in the division is good enough to capitalize on the Cards struggles. Maybe the Reds or Astros could climb to 1st, but are they good enough to put some distance between themselves and STL?? I don't think they are.

If (or when) STL gets back on track, they are capable of putting 10-15 games between themselves and second place. Looking bad right now though

They will win the central and proceed to get ass-raped by whomever comes out of the West; if they do make the NLCS no way in hell they can get past Glavine and Pedro in a 7 gamer.
