hey Captain, im new to posting on the forum but have been a lurker for about a year now and have always kept an eye on your plays, your capping of the bases is very impressive and your record is very impressive;

QUESTION REGARDING THE BREWERS Tomm:

Maddux is old, and although he has showing signs of life @ home, his road record has been horrid. Capuano is an All Star snub IMO and all signs point towards a Brewers win. Cap has pitched 2 shut outs vs the Cubs this year in 17 innings, including 1 complete game and has walked none. He went 2-0 in those games and is 2-0 in his last 3 starts with his team going 2-1 when he pitched in this games. I dont see any reason why Capuano cant shut down this horrid Cubs offense tomm, and outpitch Maddux. My only concern is the the Brewers bullpen. they have pitched 13.9 innings the last 4 games and their "all star" closer Turnbow has blown a couple of saves, one in which Carlos Lee saved his butt and gave him a wn with a rbi single to win the game in the bottom of the 9th. I really wanna lay a good size chunk on the Brewers tomm with Cap pitching, but I just think the game looks to easy. alot of juice to, about -170 at most books and if I could go with my gut i could see Capauno going 7 strong, but then watching his bullpen destroy his effort. do you reccomend a play on Milw, and if so do you reccomend I go big? i know most cappers dont like telling others what to do, but in this case i am asking for your honest opinion on the brew crew as i see them putting a beating on a horrble cubs squad...its always hard to lay that much vig on a 300 game winner though, especially one who can still pitch a gem when he is in the zone, so what do u think.

Usually it seems like a good move to go against the Cubs, but from everything I am hearing, there will be changes made after the All Star Break. They will be using the next few days to evaluate what those changes will be personel-wise.
The Cubs players may be putting in more effort the next few games, so I am personally staying away from this game. If I had to make a lean, I would say the Brewers, but -165 is a bit steep to pay in my opinion.
I am not sure if this helps much, as I am leary of this game and the Cubs actually may be a good value here.

CAP,

I've been following your plays the past several weeks. Just curious why the big play on the Angels & Yanks. and if you had to choose one play of the two which would it be?

i agree, the price looked like a trap....it looks to good to be true and im going to lay off...this def the type of game where D-Lee comes back into form before the All Star game, and it seems as if when hes hot, the whole team plays better to compliment him...im laying off, thank you for the response

Sorry for the late reply, I just got back from work. I like them both pretty equally, but the Yanks a little more because of the better line.

didnt play the Bucks because I thought it was a trap after I capped the hell out of it and instead played Cleveland big (didnt realize you had NYY) and finished the day 2-5 on 1 unit plays and 0-1 on a 2 unit play on Cleveland instead of following you like i should have..i F'iNG HATE days where i go against what i like, and what solid capers like yourself like and end up getting killed..oh well

Damn! Angels just lost.:nopityA:

From now on, I won't be betting the late nite games you pick.

Nah, just kidding. Your picks have helped me a lot and I just wanted to thank you.
