Got talked into joining a 25-40 rugby league this spring.

Eventually decided that I'm getting a little old for that much contact & was asking to finish off my already abused knees.

Far, far away Rail - just sw of Baltimore.

Flag football for me also in college - about 30 lbs. ago.

5 HC in golf playing out of The Woodlands GC in Balto. Decent serve and volley in tennis. Played several times with Pam Shriver (friend of family) after attending several of her camps in the 80's.

Beer became my friend.

Journey

I was in a duckpin league (at Westview lanes on Route 40) 3 yrs ago. Carried about a 124 avg. There are some classic old lanes in Canton at the top of a rowhouse (which is BYOB and can be alot of fun), a few in Dundalk, one set in Glen Burnie but very few others. Clearly a mid-Atlantic Baltimore thing.

My parents bowled dunkpins for 30+ yrs. hence my involvement.

Dante, I have seen many a baseball player strike out in slow-pitch softball. Harder than it looks after swinging at 80mph pitches.

Darts for me. :103631605

There are some people who couldn't hit the broad side of Oprah's ass if it was 3 feet in front of their face.

I don't have the best eye-hand coordination, but lasik sure as hell helped.

Some people are just flat out damn near blind!!

I tried to pitch to the baseball players with more arc. They always wanted to hit HR's. They don't have the discipline to hit line drives. They will hit popups all day. They strike out because it is hard to keep their wrists back, so they dip their shoulder.

I use to bowl @Greenway in GB, the one that I believe burnt down and is no longer there.

I forgot about Fair Lanes SW in Linthicum...none around me where I am now though...would be fun to get back into though.
