Cubs under 5: -140
O's under 4: -111

- The O's are 28th, third from the bottom, in OPS vs. lefties this year. They are 29th in road OPS. Also, they're facing CC. I see them getting blanked, or scratching out a run or two tops.

- Cubs vs. LHP are 30th, dead last in OPS in the majors. They are 27th in road OPS. Zach Jackson isn't great, but he held them to 3 runs at Wrigley. I think the road factor will hurt the Cubbies here.

good to you see you back. I'm on the brewers and indians for the game. Do you see better value in the TT?

Hey Bdub,

I think the Brewers are a solid bet. They're hot right now and the Cubs bats are ice cold. Zambrano scares me because he can always shut a team down, but he's given up 11 ER in his last 2 starts and 11ER in his last 2 vs. Mil.

The Tribe on the other hand is running into some brutal trends, the strongest of which is to fade a team that has lost by 5 or more runs in their next game. Also, Baltimore is a potential play as a team to have scored 8 or more but lost in their last game. (Not my rsch. - another poster on another site came up with these.) Benson is decent, too, so it's a no play for me on the side.

I have found that playing the under with these weak lefty hitting teams is, obviously, more risky with journeyman lefties like Jackson, but against the top lefties like C.C. it's a VERY strong play. The added element of the road weakness and the high O/U (5) made the Chicago under worth a play. I'm still testing it out, so we'll see how it goes. GL
