1. Angels wayyyyyyy under 8.5 runs 3 units

This is actually a hugeee play for me, but for posting purposes, I just cant make an over/under a 4 unit play! But this play is huge just as the under in the same game yesterday was huge!!! The trends on this play from the Oakland side are the strongest that I have ever seen, except for a Santana under that is! But lets look at the numbers.
Weaver is on the hill for Angels in this spot, but keep in mind that it is JeRED WEAVER, not JEFF!! Jered Weaver has been remarkable thus far in the season! His record is 5-0 with a MENISCULE 1.35 era! His WHIP is an outstanding .78! During night games, he is actually 4-0 with a .99 era! His strikeout to walk ratio is incredible! He generally about 1 batter a game 7. THE MOST hits that he has allowed thus far in a game was 5. Only problem is that LA usually scores quite a few runs for him. But in LA's last three games, they only scored 3,5 and 4 runs. So this game should end about a 4-0 final in favor of LA.
Blanton in on the mound for Oakland. He hasnt looked real strong lately, but he has been pretty consistent. In his last start, he pitched 7 strong innings against Detroit and only gave up 3 runs. He has pitched a 2 shutouts earlier in the season. In his last 6 starts he gave up 3,4,2,2,0,and 0 runs. In those starts, his run support was not tremendous seeing Oakland only score 5,1,4,5,2 and 2 runs. In his 4 previous starts vs the Angels he has looked great! He pitched 8 innings in three of those starts and 6 innings in the other start. He only gave up 7 earned runs TOTAL in all 4 games!! Strangely, he lost 3 of those 4 starts since his team was shut out once and scored 1 run in another game. This guy gets the run support of Roger Clemens!! And they are playing against a hit pitcher, this one will be easy!

Nothing much needs to be said about Liriano. Against the Astros and Roger Clemens 2 weeks ago, he looked masterful and the Astros skipper said that he was BY FAR the best pitcher that they had seen all season! He is a great strikeout pitcher with an excellent strikeout/walk ratio. His record for the season is 9-1 with an incredible 1.99 era. His WHIP is a .97. His only loss this season was a tough luck loss where he only gave up 3 earned runs! The team only scored 2 runs for him in that game. That was THE ONLY start in his last 10 that he has given up more than 2 runs. In his last start, he pitched 8 solid shutout innings while punching out 12 batters and walking only 1. He only gave up 3 hits in that affair. In his last 10 starts, on 4 occassions he didnt give up a SINGLE RUN, earned or unearned! Hell, the defense is real strong behind him in that he hasnt given up an unearned run all season!! He has only given up more than 5 hits on ONE OCCASSION!!! This guy has CY YOUNG stats for sure!!
I am a little worried that Minny has lost their last 3 games, but they sure were on a great run before that! They had won 11 games in a row and 19 out of 20 games! In those 19 games, only TWO games were decided by 1 run!
Meanwhile, TEXAS is also taking the field! They have gone 4-8 in their last 12 games and 7 of those were home games. Rheinecker has actually looked pretty decent this season at times. In his last start, he only gave up 1 earned run. And 3 of his total starts this season, he only gave up 2 earned runs.

Liriano will make this pick a winner himself since I STRONGLY suspect that he will pitch a shutout today! All I need is Reinecker to pitch like has in half of his starts! Minnesota wont score too much, I am looking at a 4-0 final here! I had thought that the trends would show a Minnesota under here of course, but check out the Texas trends on the under!!

He was equally impressive in his 2 starts previous to the 2 hitter. In BOTH of those starts, he didnt give up a single run while only giving up 5 hits in one game and 2 hits in the other! He punched out 12 batters in the latter game while walking no one! SO THAT IS 2 OUT OF HIS LAST 3 STARTS WHERE HE ONLY GAVE UP 2 HITS!! And that is 1 earned run in 3 starts!! Baltimore is definitely not playing great baseball, but I have to go with the hot hand for at least a little money!!
