Can someeone who has seen Ryan Howard take batting practice answer this quesiton?

During games, he hits home runs to the opposite field a lot. Does he pull the ball during BP?

I like him over Ortiz, living close to Philadelphia I do get to see him play, he has alot of power, I think more than Ortiz, I guess it comes down to does he get the pitches to hit from his pitching partner. Does anyone know who each player has pitching to them?

Phillies bullpen coach Ramon Henderson, who pitched to Home Run Derby champion Bobby Abreu last season in Detroit, was asked to pitch in this years contest to Boston slugger David Ortiz. Henderson also is throwing to Phillies 1B Ryan Howard. Henderson said he wouldn't play favorites and groove pitches only to Howard. "The whole thing is about the fans," he said."

I like Burkman in this series because he has the power hit. There is nothing better than to take frustration out on the balls. He will hit the balls hard to release his maddness about how bad his team is in the first half of the season.Isn't that most players will do when they are mad and ferious? they just want to hit something or slam on something to make them feel better so this would fit right in for Burkman. Didn't he finished second last year ? I bet he will have better chance this year.

From what I heard Howard doesn't try to hit home runs during BP. Instead he works on hitting the ball all over the field.

Plus I'm sure the Phillies are very cautious about him trying to hit HR's because that would mess up his swing.

David Wright is using Lo Duca (was signed as a pitcher).

Berkman is using bullpen coach Mark Bailey.

Not sure about Cabrera, but I doubt he uses Olsen.

Dye is not sure who he is using yet, but it won't be his bullpen coach.

Glaus isn't sure yet either.

No idea on Tejada.
