I want to get a cross section of some jobs that people work from home or are self employed. Let's get some real life answers and some others that are possible. I am tired of working for the "man". Mortgage brokering is one option for me since I work for a mortgage company. I need more freedom to attend little league games and such.

Ease to start up, start up costs, time each week, etc.

(Hell, I took a day off today and noticed my pool guy seems to have it pretty easy, he was only here for 25 minutes)

job from home:betting on sports for a living.
start up cost: computer,internet, pen,paper
time each week: 25 hours max
income: very nice
besides being a Pro athlete, nothing I'd rather be doing

I know self employed insurance sales people...but they are always out on the go, but technically their home is their office.

But too many hours of work.
