WOOOHOOOOO I'm a business owner. I only have 1 but hell ya got to start sometime. My goal is to have 3-4 more by the end of the year. This seems like a business where I can be selective on the growth I have.

Anybody have any fresh ideas to find new places to place a vending machine. I have thought of group Emails or putting up flyers in the lobby. Not sure about door to door or phone soliciting. Don't want to disrupt thier business day.

One thing I like is although most Vendors are out early stuffing the machines, there is no reason why you cant stuff the machine at night.

What are you gonna have in the vending machine and where do you get the merchandise?

Best of luck with your venture, Right Side.

TRS, best of luck. I give you props for giving this a shot.

You will probably have to go through some trial and error like anything else.

Thanks Leykis

It's a soda (I say pop) and snack machine all in one. I made sure I got one that takes dollars and gives change back.

I get the candy bars and snacks from Costco and I hunt for deals on the soda.

Candy bars (reg size) I get for about .34c. Granola bars, Micro popcorn and pop tarts all from costco.

We made it easy charge .75c for everything. Like I said we are on the hunt for soda sales try to get it for no more than 35c a can. In MI we have a .10c fucking deposit or I would make even more. I'm not sure if I should put a can collector next to the machine. Not sure if that is the right thing to do.

Success vs failure has to be about 90% tied to location. Either you have a good one, or you don't.

IMO, that is the ABSOLUTE key.

My sister tried this garbage. Good luck; you'll need a lot of it.

Come on Drunken you have to give me more than that. I didn't sign up for those stupid seminars hell I had an acount before I had a machine. This is worth a chot to me. We already have a lead on a 2nd one already.
I say what the hell I paid 1900 for the machine and 200 for stock so far. Not sure where or how to start a business for less than 2200.

Thanks guys for the kind words. That's why theRX is a great place to spend you off time in.

10 machines at 200$ per wk profit and you are god!

Is $200 per machine per week the expected profit? I'm totally unfamiliar with this biz.

If everyone listened to the negative we would never get anywhere...

Right Side you can be an obnixious prick but I give you props and wish you the best and hope you end up with 100 locations....don't listen to the naysayers.

Labeeb, that's exactly it.

You throw a few bucks at it, and if you make some-you keep feeding it.

Reinvest, reinvest, reinvest. If you're making a cent, and can compound it-it can add up damn quickly.

LMAO I just fell off my chair. Journey I'm not a wizrd of the pen. So sometimes I don't express myself the way I would like too. You are right Journey if I would have stopped at it can't be doone. Or you just think you can just do that? I would be living in a carboard box. The negative losers are the ones blaming other people. Hell I might fail in life with somethings (baseball and fucking horses) But I want to fail on my terms of giving it a shot.

worked for pepsi for 14 years and placement is the key...can generate up to 5 to 6 hundred per week if in the right location...factories, hospitals, anywhere there are people working in an office setting or people in an outdoor setting...swimming pools, schools...kids will go nuts for everything you put in it they will buy...and put one slot of the drink section for water...juice.. gatorade..if you can get it in front of the folks they will use it...

I learned a long time ago, you don't swim with the masses or you will never get anywhere.....nothing better than proving someone wrong.

Even if this ends up being a part time/extra money on the side venture, I think it will be worth it.

95% of the people are swimming the wrong way.

BOL

If you post location, we'll send you customers...even if it's a private setting...they'll use any excuse: ask to use restroom, get a drink of water, etc...then sneak over and buy something.

Not trying to drag anybody down but you can find "make easy money with vending machines" ads in numerous newspapers, right next to the other "easy money" ads. It can't be that simple; I've heard that once you get past paying for the merchandise, paying the location to let you put your machine in there, business taxes and fees, et al the amount you make isn't worth the time and effort. Good luck though and I mean that; I do hope it works out.
