here is a way for you to win some money on the AS game

well, imo, the worst you do is break even.
lets look at the game a bit...

Rogers is starting vs Penny. These two pitchers are not great and are certainly not the most talented on their team, but they will be facing the best lineup that the other league has to offer. Smells like runs to me. the most dominant portion of either pitching staff is the RP that the Al has to use with pap/rivera/ryan/liriano/santana/halladay/zito...with these guys in vs the NL reserves i dont think the NL scores much.
so i look for the two teams to get off and score some runs early leaning me towards playing the first half game total over 5.5 runs at -$1.12
the fact that the Pitchers will get better as the game goes on, the pressure will increase later in the innings with this game meaning more than it used to, and the bats coming in cold to hit the best pitchers in the other league i think the scoring should slow down a lot and i like the game total under 10.5 at +$1.01
to lose both we would have to see the starters (rogers and penny) lock down the best bats in each league and then the reserve bats to light up the best pitchers the other league has to offer.
if the game opens 12-4 then we have the first half over. if the game starts out 1-0 then the game total looks like a great under.
I dont think losing both is much of a possiblity and i will wager a unit on these two plays and sit back and enjoy.

Liriano on Thursday will be a lights out performance after the snubbing.

Interesting stategy Mo. Like I said earlier, Rodgers can be had on a hot humid day, so a 1st half play on the over would have good value to it.

just a way to enjoy the game, have something on it, and be in a fairly low risk/high reward position going into the contest. its all gambling but i like thise play on this particular game with the lines we have been provided by the linesmakers.
I doubt Both Penny and rogers will dominate the lineups they are set up against, and i will take my chances on the risk/reward offered by this little system and how ive capped it
