Well, no hard feelings, but and BUT,

things that look like trends but have NO EXPLANATION available are not 'usually' trends. I mean....there might be times that we just didn't see the reason and learned later.

BUT if there is no good underlying 'reason' for a supposed 'trend' then we should just walk away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
