Good buying opportunity. Very typical overreaction to the news on the bill-which is getting an INCREDIBLE amount of hype in the mainstream media.

BUY BUY BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...if it makes it and it passes stock will become a penny stock.

Your statement is equivalent of "If I put 100k on the AL tonight and they win I'd have won 100k more!!"" I hope you realize that.

Very unlikely NETeller would become penny stock with NETeller Europe and NETeller Japan.Their business would diminish and they would face more competition from PayPal.</p>

Woody, IMO, neteller's large market is the US. European customers don't have any problem using credit/debit cards and at the same time neteller refuses customers from Eastern Europe = the place where cards are not that popular yet so Moneybookers welcomes them. I think the bill could be a huge hit to neteller. Still, I hope they stay around and flourish as I really like their service.

I say it is a buy - better yet, buy some options and limit downside.

Even if the US passes this, Neteller can tell them to Foff and likely would. Neteller targets a US clientele. How is the US going to prevent transactions to Neteller? It is impossible.

The NY attorney general basically begged paypal to block gambling in NY - WHy? Because he knew stopping them was impossible (So he played the card of bad press and ebay bought it). Paypal was located in the US and the government could not stop them.

Neteller will not dissapear. They operate under a set of laws that is not US run. There is a very good reason why they did not open in the US and an even better reason why they moved from the Isle of Man to the UK (You think it was cause they wanted to pay employees more?) More likely they want to challenge the US government to say you can not send money to a major banking institute in Europe.

I doubt it was neteller. You may have seen an article on google's new micro payment product? Google Checkout?
http://checkout.google.com/

there was a big fuss over e-bay removing it as an authorized payment method earlier in the week.

The chance of paypal buying neteller is about the same as me buying ebay.
