He has been saying this for years. He pushed a bill to try to get college betting banned in Nevada, an outrageous affront to states rights. Eventually enough Republicans who believe in states rights blocked his efforts and it died.

He has been saying that since 97. All please remember before they ever came after you, they came after us here in Vegas first. Joe Lupo, Robert Walker, Art Manteris as well as other high ranking people behind the scenes worked very hard to defeat that move not once but twice.

McCain would have to start distancing himself away from Bush if he were to win the general election in 2008. If he does this too soon, it wil cost him the Repub nomination because the "far right" controls the party and generally doesn't like McCain
