Dante,

Do you have DirectX installed? My wife was having the same problem prior to installing DirectX.

Thanks.

If you are using a computer that was made before 2004 that is
probably why you can't use it.

Dante,

<table class="list ol"><tbody><tr><td class="number">1.</td><td class="text">Click Start, and then click Run.</td></tr><tr><td class="number">2.</td><td class="text">Type dxdiag, and then click OK.</td></tr><tr><td class="number">3.</td><td class="text">On the System tab, note the version of DirectX displayed on the DirectX Version line.</td></tr><tr><td class="number">4.</td><td class="text">On the DirectX Files tab, check the version information for each DirectX file.</td></tr><tr><td class="number">5.</td><td class="text">When you are finished checking file versions, click Exit.</td></tr></tbody></table>
To download the latest version fo DirectX, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

Gynecologist,

With all respect. Why would you say that?

Thanks.

I tried to run Google Earth and it never worked. I
read through the troubleshoot and it said it Google
Earth may not work on computers made before 2004.

I have a laptop I was wondering if that was the problem?
Maybe I need a new graphic card? I don't know.

I'm surprised that they would place that comment in the troubleshooting section as many PC's can be upgraded.

I would of stated what hardware is required to run the software. Not place a year of the PC that will run the software. In addition, many PC's that we buy now have the same hardware that was used in 2004.

My reply isn't with you, it's with them.

Thanks.

I should look at Vegas.

G.E. is actually a hobby for some people. Some interesting things to be uncovered.
