Don't worry, this is NOT the Senate bill to kill gambling all together, but it's SCARY cause this may be a sign of things to come. LOOK......

This Senate bill was voted by the Senators for the state of Washington on Feb 14, 2006.

This might shock you, but look at the results......

44 in favor
0 opposed
5 not voting

NOT ONE!!! ......NOT ONE Senator in Washington st opposed the ban!!! Can you imagine how the Senators in the other states will vote when the MAIN Senate hearing happens to finally put the nail in the coffin!?!?

To see the Repubs & Dems Senators in Washington state who voted for this ban in their own state, go here:

I don't think the rest of the country will vote the way the Wash. State legislators did.

im not as opposed to this as i origiinally was because I hear the rip off stories all the time, people getting screwed out of money. books dont have to answer to you if they dont want to. your basically hoping they have the decency to pay you back since you paid them, which doesn't happen as much as it should. i would be a bit dissapointed if it passed, but wouldn't lose sleep over it because the business has enough problems with its customers getting ripped off. maybe if these companies were more legit id have a different opinion.

It is not hard in a lot of states to get a law passed... With the right amount of money and a little ass kissing, you can get a 44-0 vote.

The vote out in Washington is 100% meaningless in DC.

If they had this vote in NV instead it would have been 0-44.

Anyways, the law in Washington is unconstitutional and eventually some publisher will take it to the federal court system.
