ny mets +497 but only if they get a starting pitcher before the trade deadline... if not i think the white sox +635 because i know kenny williams (imo the best gm in baseball fwiw) will get them a center fielder

Im looking for teams with good odds that have a decent chance at making the playoffs so I can hedge right away or after a series.

Atlanta Braves 100/1

The braves may not win the world series but there is a lot of value in betting them. They are only a few games out of the wildcard. This team has a lot of young players and some experienced veterans that can easily go on a 10 game winning streak.

Cincinnati Reds

There are also a lot of NL and AL West Teams that can easily make the playoffs and have value

I like:
Red Sox +619
White Sox +635
Detroit +532
NY Mets +497
St. Louis +619

Assuming at least one of these makes the WS, hedging opportunities arise.

I haven't actually done this yet, but this crazy idea might actually work.

the brewers are set to get ben sheets back in another couple weeks and they have been linked to trade talks regarding Greg maddux

Sheets (as talented as anyone)
Capuano (a 2006 all star)
Maddux (hall of famer)
Davis (talent lefty with high K rate and in his contract year)
Bush

thats a very talented front 4 and they have a lineup that can put up some runs...i like their value in a very weak nl A lot

Angeles...they continue to receive strong pitching and clutch hitting. Team that was down all year and looks to be hitting there stride before the break.
