Lloyd McClendon has lost a bit of bat speed since he turned 50 but he might be able to still play a bit. He did hit 5 straight homers in the Little League World Series before getting intentionally walked the rest of the tourney. Seriously, it has to better than Dusty.

It really is hard to believe how far this team has fallen...they 'appeared' to be set for years (to contend) with that golden staff.

Clement gone
Wood always hurt
Prior always hurt
Zambrano was the young potential stud and he has lived up.

Llyod Mcclendon is a joke. Cubs would be better off going after Casey Stengel.

Don Zimmer is still around. The last mgr that took them to the NL championships round.

No Bob Brenly talk in Chicago? I would think that he would throw his name in the pot for hell of it.

Bob Brenly is worthless too, he almost blew the World Series in AZ by continuing to send Bong Load Kim out there to give up 9th inning HRs against the Yanks.
Besides, no manager could win with this group of stiffs and Larry Rothschild as pitching coach.
