We can only do so much here at these gambling forums. We need mainstream media to ask their viewers to write their senators telling them how we feel about individual freedom.

100s of letters make no difference. 100s of thousands of letters do.

I am seeking people I think agree with our stance.

I have sent emails to:

Tucker Max of tuckermax.com - he has a huge college following.
Brooke Skye of brookeskye.com - an old friend with many fans
Howard Stern
Bubba the Love Sponge - Looking closely at his site, I see he has a link at www.btls.com to email your senator.

If you guys know of other people with good target audiences, please email them now, inform them of the House bill, how their fans can write their senators, and the importance.

Thanks,

Sean

The Poker frenzy might be our biggest asset. Millions of recreational poker players are certainly pissed off right now.

Power in numbers?

ABSOULUTELY AGREE!

Then again, if POKER was not around, this may have all gone unnoticed........no?

Hell, I don't know.

My PERSONAL stance on this right now is that this has a 50-50 chance of passing the Senate..............even though many respected posters have come forward and said the chances are much lower.

Fish, I dont think the senate touches this with a 10 foot poll.

This bill has already been on Leno, Letterman, Howard Stern, CNN, NBC, etc. College kids on facebook have started emailing each other telling people to vote democrat if they like poker. I am going to hit up myspace and see if I can get a chain email going...

Republicans can see this. They see they have definitely hurt themselves. I dont think anyone brings it up in the senate in an election year.

So has Leno, Letterman, and Stern been making fun of the bill? If they have been making fun is it pro or against?
