Who is your favorite UFC Fighter?

Mine was Chris Leben till he got owned by Silva in his last fight. Now I am not a fair weather fan but I expected him to fair better than he did.

So right now I would have to say Mike Swick.

No I have kicked my hydrocodone habit and I have been light walking for 3 days. I broke a lil sweat yesterday and went and jumped in my hot tub.

I should be ready for you by super bowl.

Well know fighters....Rich Franklin (great overall skills) GSP. Ortiz, really changed my opinion of the guy after last TUF.

Lesser known fighters...Brandon Vera, Dean Lister

From TUF...Bisping, Groves, Sanchez, and that kid that is all heart, no muscle, Luke something. And of course Griffin, he is 110% too.

I was a Luke Cummo fan until I lost money on him in his last fight against Goulet, he really didn't show up for that one.

Kimo? Well if you like him against Bas Rutten you should get some great odds. I read on another forum that he's like +400 at the Venetian right know and that Bas is something ridiculous like -600

of this generation, i love george st. pierre. he's an incredible athlete and a great embassador for the sport. i've watched ufc since ufc 1, and back in the day i remembered being glued to the screen after watching the man known as the phenom, vitor belfort at his prime. those were the good ol' days.

GSP is a stud for sure Fairly but I was pretty floored with how easily he got put away by Hughes, who has not been mentioned once in this thread...

As far as Cumo goes, I think he is a nice kid but he won't ever amount to anything major IMO.

the only reason i didn't mention hughes is because this thread is about favorite fighters, not best fighters in their class. i really dislike hughes. he's not very fan friendly at all.

when i went to see him fight riggs in ufc 56, he was the only fighter not to stop and chat with fans. that was enough for me to walk straight to the sportsbook and throw 3 units on riggs just on the hope of knocking his cocky ass out. didn't work out, but i sure had fun heckling him from the stands.

but hughes is definitely a force to be reckoned with. his experience will be key in his rematch with gsp.

I agree man Hughes has always seemed like one of the only Miletich fighters to not be humble and fan friendly.

Another reason I love Swick is because we both grew up near each other and the couple of times I have met him he has been willing to reminice (sp?) about some of the happenings around H-Town.

Yeah, I agree with you on Cummo but I before his last fight I thought he had some heart. I wouldn't say Hughes put GSP away too easily in their first fight. GSP was holding his own until he got caught in that arm bar that nobody in the wolrd was expecting to come from Matt Hughes.
