I am just curious? How come tons of people on a bunch of
different forums were on the Indians today? I just never seen
so many people on a Big Dog like that?

I mean Liriano was pitching and he has been lights out? And
all over different forums people were posting they liked
Cleveland? Can anyone help me out here?

I was on cleveland. As choptalk said, great value with them.

I am asking this cause I am new to betting baseball. All
of my buddies were on the Indians. I made a very small
wager on the Twins -1.5 +112 and knew I was going to
lose because everyone was on the Indians. Squares and
Sharps alike were on the Indians.

I just saw that thread!! Congrats on that!!

You have some gorilla balls to give -1.5 +290 against Liriano.
I know some people were on the Indians because of line
movement and some were just following everyone else but
for you to Pop that +290 is sharp!!!

Damn + 2.90 units per 1 unit bet can't get better than that.

I made a small play on the Twins RL as well, and even though hindsight is a perfect vision, I can see why people would take a stab at the +290 going towards the tribe. Cleveland's offense can hit any pitcher in the bigs, and Cliff Lee isn't Jose Lima here.

Good hit for all those that played Cle in any way at all as I was one of the fools that bit for Liriano's electric stuff...

I was on the Indians because young Liriano has pretty much been on a plane since late sunday night. He first flew home to the DR then found out he was named to the all star team and turned aroud and flew to pitt. then had to fly to minn for the game today. To much time on a plane instead of resting up and preparing.

Cleveland was a good play because the Twins and Liriano were on such a tear before the all star break, and now its a little like opening the season where the slate is wiped clean. Cleveland with high expectations has a chance for a fresh start as does Anaheim, another team to watch. Also, Houston?

Thank you. I appreciate this. See if someone would of
mentioned this to me before the game I probably would
of thought twice. Make sense. Your good billyaz

I was looking at this game for a week thinking that Liriano will be pissed being snubbed and not an allstar. Well they added him and after he was a travelling and realizing the Twins have no shot at the playoffs my mind finally got to Cleveland -1.5 +290 and I like Lee too.

These were my reasons

Play On - All underdogs with a money line of +100 or higher (CLEVELAND) - hot hitting team - batting .300 or better over their last 15 games, in July games.
(39-20 over the last 5 seasons.) (66.1%, +32.1 units. Rating = 4*)

The situation's record this season is: (5-5, +1.6 units).
Over the last 3 seasons the situation's record is: (26-16, +19.1 units).

- LEE is 16-9 (+11.8 Units) against the money line as a road underdog of +100 or higher over the last 2 seasons. (Team's Record)
- LEE is 20-6 (+15.7 Units) against the money line in road games over the last 2 seasons. (Team's Record)
- LEE is 20-9 (+13.3 Units) against the money line in road games in night games over the last 3 seasons. (Team's Record)
- LEE is 8-1 (+8.2 Units) against the money line in road games when working on 5 or 6 days rest over the last 2 seasons. (Team's Record)
- LEE is 10-2 (+9.4 Units) against the money line in road games after a loss over the last 2 seasons. (Team's Record)
- MINNESOTA is 9-20 (-13.4 Units) against the money line against division opponents this season.

P.S. Atlanta falls under the "Play On" for Firday.

Thanks but you know i read that on covers the other night and it just made sense to me. All that flying in 3 days has to take a toll on a person no matter how used to traveling they are.

Another thing to keep in mind is young hot studs who do awesome in the first half of the season usually put in a weak second half.
