any man who puts 6 hours into a system deserves the chance to prove what hes got....cashed out alot of my $ until football season as mid season baseball can be tricky with so many teams already assured a playoff spot, teams like the Mets who can lose 10 in a row and still win the division....and alot of letdowns occur after monster first halfs, when the contenders with proven vets like the Yanks and Bos start to bully the rising powers like Toronto....took Toronto with you though however, I feel they are in "must win" mode right now after going 3-5 their last 8 and falling to 4.5 games out of first in the AL EAST, they know they have both the offense and pitching to win, they just let themselves go before tbe break and with AL Central almost certain to win the Wild Card, I think the Jays knwo they need to win to make a run at the postseason, especially with having one of their best years in a decade and spending a fortune in the offseason to revamp their bats with the likes of Overbay and Glaus who have payed huge dividends on their investments...what better way to get back on a streak then against the AL West's last place Mariners, who have lost 5 of 6...only thing that scares me is how good Meche has been as of late, going 4-0 in his last 7 starts, , with the Mariners going 5-2 in those starts....however I think the Jays are the side to hammer, they NEED this game and they are not gonna allow a wonderful start go to waste when they know that Boston and the Yanks are not gonna slow down...Meche has beeen hot, but his team has stunk up the room as of late and I think in the end he still loses because of lack of run support, something like 5-3...gl and thank hyou for your plays
ONE QUESTION:
layed a unit on the rocke,t I know he has not proven he is close to what he used to be, but the acquistion of Huff might just be the spark the Stros needed to get their 2nd half run going, and that might make the difference to overcome the facat that the rocket has an ERA of 2.60 in his last 3 starts, but because of lack of run support, his team has gone 1-2 in those starts...They showed used yesterday that getting a proven slugger like Huff out of a hitters nightmare in @ Tropicana, into a more friendly Minute Maid, that he can show signs of his 30+ HR ...also Houston is 6-2 in the Rockets last 8 FRI starts, and the Stros themselves have taken 5 of 6 since last year from the overachieving Marlins...I think their is no better way for the Rocket to get his feet wet then to shut down one of the Leagues hottest teams, the Marlins, at home with a new spark in their line up in Huff...another stat I like is the fact that Clemmens lifetime vs the Marlins is 5-0, with a 2.72 ERA.... He won both of his outings against them last season, allowing one run while striking out 10 in 13 1-3 innings.
....what does your sytsem say about this play? I mean Vegas is def siding with Houston in this one, as they are laying a buck 80 on a road team vs a young Marlins team that just began to slump after an explosive couple months
