First half was great to me as well as many others around here. Lets keep it up as baseball is the easiest sport to turn a profit! My plays reange from 1 unit to 4 units


1. Angels -1.5 runs with Lackey -105 3 units

This is a very strong play here with an extremely hot Angels ballclub. Angels have won 3 in a row and 8 out of their last 9 games. Their last 6 wins were on the road as well! John Lackey takes the hill for LA. He is 7-5 for the season with an era of 2.88! But he has been MUCH better of late just as the Angels have been as well. In his last 5 starts, he is 3-1 with incredible .96 era. His WHIP during those starts is .64. In his last 7 starts, he didnt allow a single earned run in 4 starts. His last 2 starts saw him pitch shutouts!! HE threw a complete game 1 hit shutout in his last start. His last 2 starts has seen his strikeouts reach 10 for the first time of the season. HE RARELY gives up a homerun! This guy will be the suprise of the second half!! THE ONLY QUESTION here is whether the Angels will score 2 runs for us! During his starts, they generally dont score more than 3 or 4 runs and that could cost us in the runline bet. But that fact also leads to my next 3 unit bet in the next play.

Tampa Bay has Seo on the hill. He has been a hard luck loser in his first 2 starts since being traded earlier this season. He gave up 1 earned run in 7 innings in his last start against the YANKEES! Earlier in the year this guy pitched well on a few occassions while not giving up any runs in 2 starts and only 1 earned run in another 2 starts. This guy could suprise American League hitters for a while! Tampa on the road is a weak 17-30.

Well now it is down to the pick that everyone and their dead GRANDMOTHER is on!! But no reason to fade everyone here and as everyone wins this game!! I am actually betting this one on the runline of -1.5 and +120 as well as straight up. But will play it safe here in terms of picks.


First the case against Florida. Well I could go on for days for reasons against Florida, but here are a few. Sanchez is on the hill for Florida. This will be just his third outing of his career. Even in the minor leagues this guy was nothing special. HE did pitch the game of his life against the yankees a few weeks ago, but then came back to life against Washington by giving up 5 runs in 5 innings! By now, teams have seen the videos of those games and will be able to adjust! Florida has dropped 3 games in a row and 8 out of their last 11 games.

Houston is STOKED about their trade for Aubrey Huff. While I am not equally excited, he did hit a 3 run homer yesterday along with another single. So he could help them out quite a bit in the second half. Clemens is on the hill for Houston. How good is this guy???? HE has pitched 4 starts this season and in each game did not give up more than 2 earned runs. His strikeouts are down, but with the extended rest, he should be on top of his game tonight. He has won 6 out of his last 7 starts vs Florida. In his last 3 starts against the MINOR LEAGUE Marlins, he gave up 1 run twice and pitched a shutout in the other start! This one will be like stealing!!
