will it cost for a gallon of heating oil?? I am not a financial genius (by no means, lol) but was wondering (estimated) how that carries over. Last year i burned about 200 gallons of oil a month over the winter and am not liking what i am hearing with these estimates that $110 is possible by Thanksgiving.

Florida is looking BETTER AND BETTER! A hurricane is a possibility but getting a$$ raped by the oil companies up here is a guarantee.

Be prepared to pay "out your *ss" for property insurance and real estate taxes.

Do you know what the US auto fleet needs to improve their MPG to eliminate our need for importing oil?

A measley 3 miles per gallon. We have actually gotten worse as a country since 1988 when we implemented laws to force the car makers to make more fuel effeicient cars. We are getting exactly what we deserve. Let gas go up like it is in other countries. Make the government invest in hydrogen cell technology. Look at all those big gas guzzling SUV's and Hummers on the road.

Hummers need to stay in the bedroom

E85 will help a lot, but widespread vehicle compatibility & mass production are still a few years out.

It's going for $1.95 a gal around here.
