Bruce did a very good job over his 8 years, but his performance at the WC was poor and he leaves the program a bit weak and aged. Whoever takes the job has to identify young talent and develop a new group. I expect another poor showing in South Africa in 2010, but as someone who works in youth soccer I believe the longer term future is very bright.
