Taker had a broken ankle for this match. Before they went out and knowing that Taker couldn't put on a great match, Foley told him to toss him off the cage. While it took a while for Taker to agree to this, he did and placed Foley the best he could for the fall. While you can see Taker limpin around on top of the cage, you also see that Foley may have actually enjoyed it. While Funk came out to tend to Foley the first time, Funk told Foley that "your a crazy SOB" and told him that that was enough. But Foley had other ideas and of course with a missing tooth and a messed up shoulder got up and took the "thru the cage" fall.
The second fall where he goes thru the cage to the mat knocked out Foley for a brief second as the chair unexpectantly became involved. This is the most painful fall according to Foley.
If you want to see some sick shit that Foley has done find a IWA death match with beds of glass,barb wire for ropes and C4 explosive detenations. This is the really crazy shit Foley did while in Japan back in the day.

I remember that match. I was shocked, I couldn;t believe it, especially when he came back down the ramp after being thrown off the cell and then took the trip through the top of the cage. And THEN they locked the cell and started "the match", it was insane.
I remember after that there was the main event, Stone Cold verses Kane for the title. Though we were all huge Stone Cold fans, we couldn't even really watch the main event, as it was just such a feeling of "You can't top that, so don't even try". Austin lost the title, and I don't think one of us even cared at that point!

Not my fav match but I remember watching it at a bar thinking Foley is nuts. The spot where Taker throws him off the cage was planned. But the spot where Taker slams him threw the cage that wasn't since the cage gave way. To add insult to injury Foley wasn't prepared to take that spot. (Kinda like being a QB being blindsided it hurts more then if you were ready to take the hit) Plus when Foley fell thru the cage the steel chair busted him wide open to the point where his teeth with thru his nose. Just a brutal match.
New Jack throws Vic Grimes off the scaffolding in ECW. New Jack later admits that he was trying to kill him by throwing him into the turnbuckle and not strait down through the tables. New Jack was getting him back for a missed spot that left New Jack with brain damage and blindness in one eye.
