2-4 (-4.49 units) yesterday
32-22 (+19.93 units) overall
I guess I was due for a bad day, I can live with that. Still on the plus side, but I can tell you if my phillies fall out of contention for the wildcard, it will be hard for me to keep interest in baseball with football right around the corner.
I missed all the day games, but there are still some good ones left in the evening......here we go.....
Rather than use my usual format on my units for todays games, I think I am just going to make each for two units. I like some games, but am having a hard time making any one of them better than the other.
atlanta -126 vs san diego..........Sure the braves have struggled by their standards all year long. I think they are the only team in the nl east that has not got hot at some point this year. I have the feeling it is going to start now.
They have already caught the phillies for second place and they have smoltz pitching tonight. I like their chances with smoltzy and they way the braves are swinging the bats right now.
cincinnati -147 vs colorado..........I have been saying since the allstar break that I looked for the reds to come out hot like they did at the start of the season and they have won two in a row, so I don't see any reason to change my mind here. reds should win another at home tonight.
under 8.5 (-115) milwaukee/arizona.............I usually don't play totals because I really suck at totals, but I could not pass this one up. Two great pitchers having great years. I am a little shocked this total was not 7 or 7.5. I might be a sucker, but I have to try this one.
detroit -250 vs kansas city.................I don't like laying these kind of odds, but this is almost a sure thing, notice I did not use the lock word. Kansas City has battled them, but always find a way to lose on the road. This one is really a no brainer and does not need any more explanation.
boston -177 vs oakland.........the a's have really put a hurting on the sox in boston the past couple of nights. My gut tells me it is time for Schilling to shut them down.
I am going to have to take a pass on Sunday. I am working from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and just will not have any time.
Good Luck Everybody!!
