Why do the Reds bat Adam Dunn Second for?

Could somebody help me out here and explain why Adam Dunn bats second when he has 29 HR and 63 RBI and hitting for him a good average of .244 I thought you power hitter hits 3rd or 4th and he strikes out to much to bat him second to move a leadoff batter.Just curious to see what the thoughts are on this.Gravy

Two reasons.

Good on base percentage at .372

He will get good pitches to hit in the #2 hole ahead of Griffey.
