I been hearing alot of talk lately that the Government wants to ban online gambling. Just the thought of having someone tell me what I can or can not do with my hard earn cash make me very angry. Anyone else with any thoughts?

I doubt it. It will probably become legal.

Speaking of banning, why did you say at the other forum that I got you banned over here?

Yes but will be almost impossible to enforce.

But will scare many people away.

its pisses me off too. the amount of trouble and lobbying and everything else it takes just so that these people can force their morals on the rest of americans and tell us what we can and cant do with our money is outrageous.

i dont think sportsbetting online or poker online will become totally illegal or even difficult to do, but the damage has already been done because so many people are afraid they will get in trouble, which hurts the books, and ends up hurting us as well. who the fuck is behind this anyway? who is trying so hard to stop us from doing what we want and why?

Washington State legislature (bunch of homosexual hippies may I add) have already put a ban on online poker and gambling. Effective about a month ago, any online gambling is a class C felony which is on the same level as threatening the Governor, child pornography, and animal abuse. You get 5 years in fed prison and a fat fine. But I dare them to exercise that law and take everyone out. So I'm a little cautious, but I feel that I won't find the cops at my door one day.

How can they illegalize gambling online, yet they still have a Washington State Lottery? I guess it's not immoral and wrong if the money goes to them. What a fuckin joke.

They say that it's because apparently some off shore sportsbooks are frauds and dont give people their payouts they ask for. But that's just stupid, because you should consider looking into a sportsbook and not just pick on at random to put your hard earned money into. It's the dumbass people that do this the WA State legislature says that is why there is no a gambling ban in the state.

Yeah, it's ok when the state is getting money for the Lottery, and scratch tickets at grocery stores which really ANYONE can get just put in a dollar or two and you got one. It's just one big fucking joke.

:103631605 I agree here. If it does get banned it will only lead to a legalization shortly thereafter, once enforcement falls to the waste side.
