This thread is for MLB games to be played on Friday July 21st.......
The Rx. will be having it's annual Bash at The Imperial Palace in Las Vegas
on the weekend of August 18th. and will be sponsoring eighteen lucky Rxers to monster blackjack hands to be played in the Imperial Palace Casino on the afternoon of August 19th. A total of $50,000 in free hands will be awarded...
DealerTainer "ELVIS" will be dealing all hands to the lucky Rxers who win this contest at this year's bash in the Imperial Palace Casino...
I will be posting a contest thread everyday (schedule of games permitting).
All Rxers with at least 100 posts are welcome to play and win. Multiple entires from from the same IP will be considered
void unless cleared with me beforehand (in case of Rxers living in same household). No editing allowed.
This contest is not open to any Rx. employees (including moderators).
Only one hand per Rxer. (No multiple winners except for special $1,000 or $500 hand thread winners - they are still eligible for $5,000 hand but no further $1,000 or $500 hands).
The hands up for grabs are:
First place: $25,000 (Won by Poster Pefbear)....
Second Place $10,000 (Won by Poster Clubman Coop)....
Third Place $5,000
Fourth place $1,000 (Won by Poster Mickj)....
Fifth Place $1,000 (Won by Poster Bluemyboy)...

Winners will have the stake put up by The Rx. and will be allowed to keep any winnings.
In the event of a loss the player is not out any money for the hand.
In the event of a win the player keeps the winnings and the Rx. retains the original stake money.
The hands will be dealt by Imperial Palace Dealertainer "ELVIS" in the high roller pit of The Imperial Palace Casino...

1. Predict the total amount of runs scored in MLB on Friday July 21st.....
The poster who predicts the closest to the actual number of runs scored wins a $1,000 hand at the 2006 Rx. Bash at The Imperial Palace in Las Vegas....
Tiebreaker:
2. Predict the distance in feet of the longest home run hit on Friday July 21st... (ESPN.com website decides distance)..
Should a second tiebreaker be needed - the poster with the earliest post in this thread will be declared the winner. Please don't use the same predictions already posted by another poster exactly because you cannot win doing that..
All entries must be posted by 7:05PM EDT. Friday July 21st....

124 Runs scored.
Longest home run: 452 feet.
