I guess the real question is, which contender is least likely to steal are freedoms?

I am ashamed to say I voted for some of these idiots last election. I use to vote republican 90% of the time. But after the last 4 years of freedoms lost, I have changed my ways.

Who is the best man or women for the gambling world?

This post has no more to do with politics than talking about the gambling bill everyday.

The politics forums is for strickly politics. Things like border security, the war, abortion etc.....

This question is gambling related, and I feel that it belongs in the offshore forum.

I agree-- this should NOT have been moved.

As far as a realistic candidate: Giuliani, Hillary-- they wouldn't spend their time pursuing / backing it.

Your "best bet" is Hillary. I believe she is card carrying member of the ACLU.

Giuliani is real big into the patriot act. That has alot to do with this money transfer issue that we have sending money offshore.

They are never consistant with there rules.

One day you will have someone asking the question "What did you eat for dinner? in the offshore forum and it stays. Then the next day you have gambling question that gets sent to the politics forum.

Its not like im asking a question about medicare or social security. This is a gambling question.

I'd rather give up poker than have Hillary be president.

Don't think Bush is pursuing it at all either, but he'd sign the bill if it gets passed, and that's all the matters.

I am rather sure I agree with ^^^.

Sports betting is not my entire life....I could live without it.

Im not going back to solely playing with local books...Ill probably quit if internet gambling becomes too troublesome.

Choose among various 3rd party candidates and thats more than likely the best vote.

If any gambling bill were to get as far as the President's desk, no matter who or what party, it would be rubber stamped. No President is going to veto a bill like this. Sorry to say it, but more important issues fall under the possibility of being vetoed.

The better question is which Representatives and Senators are up for re-election and how would they vote on a gambling bill. We already know how the current House members voted by name. Question is which Senators support such a bill and are up for re-election. If the seats that are up for re-election can be replaced with members that don't support a gambling bill all the better.

Just for the record - moving threads is subjective and there are no real clear cut criteria for threads like this one. The fact that the thread talks about presidential candidates certainly makes it political under any circumstances.

The Rx. has any number of moderators working at any given time and it is impossible to have everyone moderate the same way. Something I may move Dante may feel is fine where it is. There is just no way to cover every possible thread title and subject beforehand the process is always subjective and up to a moderaors judgement.

I understand posters don't like their threads being moved and wish we did not have to do so but the reality is moving threads is necessary to keep the Offshore Forum from being over run with to much off topic materieal.

I would never go back to using a bookie for one, back then I bet much less per bet than now, I really would not feel comfortable betting any real money with any bookie....I would think many would also be in this same boat.
