Rough go of it again. Ended 4-5 and lose 2665. Cub OVER was about the only sunshine on an otherwise rainy day. Now down 6746 on the year. It comes slowly and it goes out so much faster (sigh). My own fault for diving back in so quickly after the break.

Going small tonight. Taking the A's and new pitcher Windsor tonight in his Oakland debut. He was 8-0 in AAA and has really good stuff. He's pitched in big games before, as evidenced by his MVP performance in the 2004 College World Series for champion Cal-State Fullerton. Tonight, should be the same kind of story. Loewen has pitched a few times already for the O's but he's yet to earn a big league win and his ERA is over 7. This is his first start since June 24. With Oakland coming off three nice wins in Boston, expect the momentum to carry over to tonight.

THe play: Oakland -107 - 535 to win 500
