I live in the DFW area, it could happen but not sure like he said. Coming back from Shreveport at 5am to make morning church. It was the better part of town (but it still can happen anywhere). I think it was because of his pimped out ride.
A guy at work has big rims on his SUV and he woke up to come to work and his truck was on blocks (decent part of the city). A few weeks ago a guy was in town on leave from active duty overseas and got killed for his rims. Sh*t happens ......

Laugh all you want but I was staying at the Prescott Pines Bed and Breakfast and the most awful Thunder and lightning storm I have ever been in developed and about 2 o'clock at night a bolt of lightning struck the tree right next to the cabin I was staying in and split the tree right down the middle. The bed I was sleeping in had a metal frame and apparently my hand was touching the frame ! My hair was standing up straight and my head was immediatedly engolfed in an excedrin headache. If you think that the high desert doesn't have very violent thunderstorms... well I'm in Vegas right now and the Eastern Sky is being lit up like a X,mas tree.
