They take Hamels there best pitcher out and they put loser White into the game! I think they are being way to careful with Hamels. They should have just let him get the last out of the inning. Tell me why they just didnt let him get the last out of the inning?

How do u know that he had 2 outs already in the inning? So he gave up a solo shot to Gonzalez. Hes a better pitcher than Rick stinky white! I just say give the rookie a challenge and get the next batter out in adversity!

Charlie Manuel should have been fired a long time ago.

What a loser Comier when are they going to let that loser go. Gives up the lead with a 3 run homer. Now that just leaves it up to Trevor hells bells Hoffman to close it down in the 9th. Phillies what a bunch of losers!

I'm also a Phillies fan

THe only people you will see on this squad next year are Utley, Howard and possibly Rowand. Gillick will split this team up and with Lieberthal and Bells contract's over next year I hope.....no I friggin pray, they finally do something right. :nohead:

As much talent as this team has, they need some sort of shakeup. It just does not work right now. You are right about the players to keep. I think I would keep Jimmy Rollins as well. I think we also need to go out and get an ace to this staff. You would think with the talent we are willing to trade, we could get one. I am hoping that Cole Hamels can be that guy, but I just don't know.

no fix. It was just Ryan Franklin and Rheal Cormier showing off their pitching skills. Franklin should go back on the roids when he was mediocre at best.

I don't know if Cole Hammels is the answer. I thought (and still do if he gets his head on right) Meyers was gonna be the man. But, as evident by recent happenings, he is a bit of a head case.

I just think it is now the product of the years and years of high hopes Ed Wade and Montgomerie had in the farm system. Each and every year they had "the next steve Carlton/nolan Ryan" in their system. Franklin, Floyd, Hamels, Madsen. They could have traded away some of that talent for a proven started, but that never happened.

Let's just hope Gillick is as good as he has shown in the past and can turn this thing around. Either that or put Billy Penn on top of another building to cancel that curse. :nopityA:
