Is the RX guarantee covering the BOS situation, if RX posters don't get to withdraw?

I know the RX has offered some sort of guarantee re: BOS.
(The first $1,000 covered if there's a problem???).

Will RX posters who have funds there and can't be paid by BOS, be paid by the RX?

Wil.....Is BoS still covered under the 10K rule?

BOS was a "Platinum" book. Of course, the insurance is valid.

I do not have the original wording of theRX guarantee, but I think it was to cover players stiffed by BOS.

I do not think it is fair to expect theRX to pay when the US government shuts down a sportsbook and blocks operation.

I think many feel the way I do.

First of all I'm not familiar with the Rx guarantee, even if there is one, but if a sportsforum, or any site, promotes other sites and gives guarantees then those should be covered regardless of the circumstances.

Let's get one thing clear, the U.S. gov't. has not shut down BoS, BoS ownership/management made the decision to shut down their site, temporarily or otherwise, regardless of the circumstances. Their site is shut down because their CEO and others have been detained by the U.S., but there is certainly no legal order nor does the U.S. have jurisdiction to shut down BoS.

I have to say that the banners I've seen on this site as "gold", "platinum", or other rated sportsbooks that one would be led to think are premium sportsbooks, imo and experience, are certainly not the cream of the crop. It certainly has appeared that anyone that is willing to pay the price charged by the Rx for "platinum, "gold", or whatever other placement has been able to do so without problem. IMO, sportsforums should be much more of a "player" advocate than a "sportsbook" advocate, and when a sportsforum starts advocating sportsbooks there is a big responsibility that goes along with that to confirm that these books are of the highest reputation, especially in this industry. Sometimes one has to sacrifice a few dollars to "do the right thing", and that's not always easy to do.

There are a handful of books out there that one does not have to worry about having his money at, and those are the Pinnacles, Cris's and Olympics of the sportsbook industry....there are only a handful. And they really don't need to spend 100K a month in advertising, their reputation speaks for itself.

I'm owed money by Betmill. I am assuming it is a loss and I am not going to try to stick it to anyone else. It is not therx's or MW or EOGs fault that BOS's business was disrupted by the DOJ.

It is also not theRx's job to make sure you dont put your money in a crappy book. Therx never states tehy do not get money from various books. It is well known that they do.

When players start paying for forums, then sites will be player advocates.

Therx used to be that...an advocate for the players. But that changed when therx.com changed ownership and brought in more advertising $$. BOS is a scam book and has been for a few years but that was never enough for thrx.com to change their stance on this...they didn't take down the banner ads for BOS until today.:pucking:

Yep, a very sharp one.

Not sharp enough to keep your money out of BOS.

You are far from what I would consider sharp.
