BOS is handling this as poorly as everything else

If the same thing were going down right now with Pinnacle, Olympic, CRIS, Cascade, etc... and they VOLUNTARILY shut down their entire operation, I think a lot more people would be pissing in their pants. Why? Because shutting down the web site is the dumbest thing BOS could have done -- they are giving the US credibility for being able to enforce laws that are outside of their jurisdiction.

If the CEO for AMAZON.com were changing planes in another country (Middle East, Asia, wherever), and was arrested because his company sold banned books to that country's residents, putting aside what the US government might do in his defense, there is NO WAY IN HELL the entire AMAZON.com web site would shut down indefinitely with no answers for anyone -- employees, customers, distributors, stockholders, etc.

BOS is handling this as poorly as they have handled everything else -- giving their customers no information and treating them with no respect whatsoever. Customers residing OUTSIDE the United States are getting screwed the most since they had nothing to do with this mess in the first place.

I wish BOS the best but they have taken a bad situation and made it worse for everyone.

What did they ever handle well? Other than deposits from people.

Almost what I expect from them.

There are three reasons BOS is closed right now.

1. When they have their parole hearings, they want to be able to say - we are following the courts orders and working within YOUR legal system to appeal them.

2. It is unlikely that BOS has enough money to pay every account if every account asked for money today - it takes them a week to pay one $10000 withdrawal normally. It is very likely that BOS has been operating on float.

Even if BOS has enough money to pay every account, it is unlikely that all the money is in neteller or another easily accessible place for immediate withdrawals.

3. In the highly unlikely situation that BOS wins their appeal, they do not want to have had all their customers already complete a withdrawal...

Awful tough to heed the warnings when they have (had) 3 banners at the top of this forum. I imagine BOS has lots of deposits due to their advertising here.

Can you tell me where you got this information? I have taken numberous 10K withdrawals, and they pay within 24 hours, and usually within 8 hours. they have a 10K max payout, and no neteller fee's it was nice.

thank goodness I listened!

I am a new member and I am thankful there are enough good posters to call this book what it is. I did business with them for a couple years and was truly the only book I had used, but all that changed when I discovered this site. I have been reading posts here for quite some time but just became a member.
I am thankful to have found this site!
As for the site and promoting this scum. It is definitely egg in the face!

Yes, is BOS open if you log on from a non US IP?

I'm curious about this also. I wonder if people in other countries are receiving the same message about the United States when they try to log in. Can you image how pissed off they must be at the U.S. if thats the case.
