Could the Rx Be A Target of the Feds?

Are the owners of the Rx concerned that the Rx may be a target of the Feds? The Feds filed charges against Sporting News for accepting gambling-related advertising and SN settled with the Feds this week for $7.5 mil. Bolstered by this "success" will the Feds continue on this strategy of going after media companies accepting ads? As the largest forum for offshore players and as a business that accepts advertising from offshore books, is the Rx concerned it may be a future target of Fed action to restrain advertising of "illegal" (the Feds' words, not mine) businesses?

BOS was not based in the US. The owners aren't even US citizens. Yes I would be concerned if I was owner of the Rx.

yeah, considering BOS is a foreign company, I'm not sure how being based in canada means anything.

The sites that work off of "referals" are more likely to face any consequences than sites that charge a standard advertising fee, but I doubt anyone has anything to worry about.

I would be surprised, I think that they are only looking for a precedent here.

No the Rx should not worry. The most the states can do is issue an order for them to stop transmitting or a useless restrainig order. As for more arrest I doubt anyone they are really looking for is around anymore or will be leaving shortly.

They will go after advestisers who are not in the know and crimilmalize them.

That is how the US can put a hurting on the offshore world and that is where they will attack. They will prosecute advertising outlets that are receiving money from these offshore sportsbooks.
