I say NO. They have no new $$ coming in and are not taking wagers to stiff people. They are going to spend millions of dollars in Lawyer fees and have Investors that will probably get paid 1st...JMO

I agree with you, and that's what's gonna hurt the industry the most. Perhaps some sort of plan to bail them out should be in the progress.

It doesn't matter that they fired 2 guys...the DOJ is not going to just say ok you can go and open back up since you fired the 2 guys...This will last weeks..IMO

Ill bet NO for the limit if the odds are anything better than -300.

Whats sad is that this is still a developing story.

Who knows if any other books will be closed by DOJ.

Tread carefully.

Heard they are firing the (2) guys busted and will be back up in the coming days.

Also, they have contacted advertisers to say deals are still up.

Smoke screen? Maybe.

But, I would say yes, people will get their loot.

somehow the players will get paid, although I do not even think it will get to this, a major book not paying its members is not good for any of the offshore industry.

The DoJ cant close books offshore. Just because they issue a restraining order doesn't mean the world has to follow.

Seems to me the DOJ is doing a good job in shutting down BOS right now...

What is stopping Bos from sending balances back now? That's what the Feds want them to do anyway but nope, they just close down and hold YOUR money. Sounds like a crappy way to run a buisness to me. Send everyone their money back already.

Until the appeal when the DOJ is told that they don't have any jurisdiction over a legal and licensed foreign company.

they sent out all pending withdrawals the night they closed including 10K to me and a friend.

those really arent the actions of people that are planning to run.

united states wants that money bank into us banks and i think they will get what they want.

Caesar - "they sent out all pending withdrawals the night they closed including 10K to me and a friend.

those really arent the actions of people that are planning to run."

After the SuperBowl when everyone wondered if Aces Gold was going out of business, I called and got a partial withdrawal from them.

I posted on a forum the same thing that Caesar posted above.
"Why would they pay me if they were planning to go out of business.
I think we'll all get our money back".

A week later Aces Gold's phones were disconnected and the website was down.

Distinct possiblity if the judge shows some backbone. Most times though at the low levels the judges just kick it upstairs because they do not want the attention an unpopular decision would bring. No one wants to lose there career. Its what it comes down to.

The problem is that everybody it seems is just taking the DOJ at its word. No one is really fighting back as of yet. Many outside our culture think this is normal for the goverment to be doing and do not question it at all.

Isn't this appeal process on a tight window? I want to say 10 days, but am not sure.

I don't think they have the ability to pass these off, but JayC would know better than I.
