I cant even read this forum without getting depressed.

This country has gone to hell in hand basket.

The old cliche that we live in the best and most free country in the world is just that, a tired and outdated cliche.

Osama Bin Ladan won. We lost more than 2 buildings in New York and 5000 people. We lost our freedom. America is now a socialist country, living under the disguise of a free country that only idiots who dont know any better still believe.

I cant even take a shit anymore without someone finding out about it. Its really sad what this nation has come to.

What in the hell can we do about it? Is it too late?

It's just the US...the rest of the world is still OK

I agree with that.

I think other than the 3rd world countrys and a few in the middle east, we are on the bottom of the list of countrys to live in.

I wouldn't go that far. Europe is still taxed to death, but we are falling to their level.

Your anthem says Land of the free and home of the brave. More like land of the fee and home of the slave.

Bin Laden won? Sure dude - we lost two buildings out of 1000000000000 billion buildings and 5000 people out of 1000000000 million - this is still the best place to live in the world.

I travelled much of the world in 2001 and the US ranks lowly as one of the places I'd like to live. For me it was vancouver, sydney, brisbane, melbourne, adelaide, auckland, christchurch and several places in thailand before anywhere in the US.

Plenty of places in the US i'd say are great to visit but LIVE - no way!

Read the thread man. I said we lost a whole lot more than those 2 buildings. That act gave the goverment an excuse to end our freedoms. That what BIN LADAN wanted!!!!!!!

once again, read the thread. I said everywhere except for 3 world countrys and some places in the middle east. Those exceptions cover every country that you just mentioned.

The U.S. may be getting worse, but things can always be changed. True, it's harder to take freedoms back that to give them up but it can be done.
